Good questions before a first run.
Can you fill powder from my existing supplier?
Yes. You can keep your powder supplier and have us review the finished blend for stick filling. Send the blend specifications, target grams per stick, total quantity, and packaging details. We confirm suitability and receiving instructions before you ship materials.
What is the minimum order for stick pack co-packing?
Standard online estimates start at 7,500 total sticks. Smaller runs may be possible with a custom quote. The online range is 7,500–100,000 sticks at 1–12 g per stick; quantities or fills outside that range need a project-specific review. Film minimums and each flavor’s production split also need confirmation.
Can I split the order across multiple flavors?
Yes. The quantity means total sticks across the order. Ten thousand sticks with two flavors means 10,000 total, not 10,000 of each. The first SKU/flavor is included in tolling; each additional one adds $400 in the full quote. Confirm each formula, quantity, and film requirement. Mixed-flavor retail packs and additional development are separately reviewed.
What does the tolling estimate include?
It estimates blending within the agreed scope, filling/sealing, and retail packout labor for one formula or flavor. You supply ingredients, stick film, and retail packaging. Materials, powder analysis, formulation, sourcing, testing, freight, and taxes are outside that displayed estimate. The full quote lets you select additional scope; ingredient costs still require the actual formula.
Can StickPax supply the packaging?
Yes. Choose StickPax-supplied packaging in the full quote and specify your retail format. Ingredients remain an additional cost. Confirm the film specification, stick dimensions, artwork, and sticks per retail pack before purchasing materials; fill weight alone does not determine the packaging dimensions.
Do I need powder analysis before production?
Powder analysis is an optional, separately scoped service for evaluating a customer-supplied blend and making preproduction samples in blank sticks. The current $750 allowance covers one blend and one evaluation round. You must supply the blend or ingredients for the analysis—even if we will source materials for later production. It is not a laboratory panel, a shelf-life study, or open-ended reformulation.
What if I have ingredients but no finished blend?
Tell us whether you have a complete recipe. Separate ingredients can be reviewed for blending to an agreed formula. If the recipe or flavor still needs development, formulation is a separate service. An ingredient list or label panel may not contain enough detail to manufacture the blend.
Who manufactures the product, and what documentation is included?
StickPax coordinates manufacturing through our partner EnviroStar. Product-specific checks, testing, certificates of analysis, and other documentation need to be agreed in the project scope. The online estimate does not include a laboratory testing panel, stability study, or label review. Share any retailer or distribution requirements before committing to the run.
