What does the tolling price include?+
Blending, stick filling and sealing, and agreed retail packout labor. The first manufacturing SKU/flavor is included. Ingredients, stick film, retail packaging materials, optional services, freight, and taxes are separate. We confirm the actual manufacturing scope and material suitability before accepting the project.
Are these the same prices as the full calculator?+
Yes. Both use the same pricing engine. These package comparisons assume one SKU/flavor, no analysis or formulation, and customer-supplied ingredients. The packaging option includes printed film and retail materials with a 10% buffer, using 30 sticks per retail pack. Configure full quote carries your selected quantity, fill, and supply option into the calculator.
Why can 30,000 sticks cost less than 25,000?+
Volume manufacturing pricing begins above 25,000 sticks. At some fill weights, 30,000 has a lower total tolling price as well as a lower cost per stick. The live comparison only calls out a lower total when it is true. Additional materials, flavors, and services still affect your complete project budget.
How do I price several flavors?+
Enter the total sticks across all flavors. The first manufacturing SKU is included; each additional one adds $400. For example, 10,000 sticks split between two flavors means 10,000 total sticks and one $400 fee. Confirm the quantity split, packaging, and any different fills. Another formula/flavor requires separately scoped formulation; the $400 manufacturing fee does not buy additional development.
Does packaging or ingredient sourcing include powder analysis?+
No. Powder analysis is an optional $750 service for one blend, with an evaluation and preproduction samples in blank sticks. You must supply the blend or ingredients needed for analysis, even when StickPax sources production ingredients. Laboratory testing and additional evaluation work are separately scoped.
Can you quote ingredients from the category or number of ingredients?+
We need the actual recipe, ingredient identities, grades, amounts, flavor system, and purchasing requirements. A category or ingredient count alone cannot establish a reliable cost. Ingredient and flavor costs remain quoted separately until that scope is reviewed.
When do I pay?+
Manufacturing, including additional manufacturing SKU fees: typically 50% upfront and 50% at shipping. Ingredients and packaging purchased by StickPax: 100% upfront before purchasing. Production ingredient sourcing is available only at 25,000+ total sticks. Formulation is 100% upfront after scope confirmation, before development. Powder analysis is 100% upfront before evaluation. Final invoices confirm your actual amounts and schedule.
Can I order fewer than 7,500 sticks or use another fill?+
Smaller runs, quantities above 100,000, and fills outside 1–12 g require a custom quote. The fill is the complete powder weight in each stick, including flavor and supporting components. The default 8 g is a pricing reference, not a recommended serving size.
Is a downloaded estimate an order or a confirmed production slot?+
No. Downloading the estimate does not place an order, collect payment, send an email, or reserve production. Send the PDF to hello@stickpax.com so we can review specifications, materials, exclusions, and scope before confirming the final quote and invoices.
